Camping Ionion Beach, on the west coast of the Greek Peloponnese, amid an agricultural area, welcomes you with the promise of peace by the sea. This modern campsite, easily accessible via asphalted back roads, offers a luxury camping experience near the village of Glyfa (1.5 km). Towns such as Vartholomio (9 km) and Gastouni (14,7) are also within driving distance. And if you want to cool down, you can walk straight to the beach (Glyfa Beach) from the campsite or go for a refreshing swim in the swimming pool.
Campsite with views of Zakynthos
Camping Ionion Beach is, as the name suggests, by the Ionian Sea. From the campsite, you look out over the clear blue sea and you can see the popular holiday island of Zakynthos in the distance.
The camping pitches at Ionion Beach are spacious and neatly demarcated with trees and bushes, providing shade for most of the day. If you don’t have your own camping equipment, choose a bungalow (maximum of four people) or a luxury apartment. Please note: the apartments are in Arkoudi, a fishing village at about 10 minutes’ drive from the campsite.
With a drink under a wicker parasol
The beautiful swimming pool with lawn offers refreshment on hot days. It is wonderfully relaxing here on a sun lounger under a wicker parasol. After swimming, enjoy a nice drink at the poolside bar. You don’t have to leave the campsite for a tasty Greek meal. The restaurant serves an extensive menu with traditional Greek dishes. You can go to the nearby campsite shop for daily groceries.
In an area of 3.8 hectares are available areas of 80-100 square meters, of course separated by shrubs and trees that offer thick shade able to accommodate caravans, motorhomes, tents.
In these areas there are also autonomous electricity and water supplies.
