The campsite is located 2 km outside the picturesque village of Finikounda, on the southern tip of Messinia prefecture.
The area around Finikounda offers many places to see! There are archaeological sites as well as excursion destinations of exceptional natural beauty and all those beaches famous for their blue and crystal clear water.
The village of Finikounda itself was erected on a beautiful sandy beach and offers everything to insure an unforgettable holiday!
We are here for the 3rd time and enjoy the sandy beach and the clean sea. There are some pitches in the front area that are very nice. Otherwise the pitches are a bit small, but that’s not a problem as the campsite isn’t very full overall. I don’t know what it’s like in the high season. Greeks often come with a tent for a few days. My wife and I love the place because it’s ideal for swimming and relaxing. There is a German woman who works here and is very helpful. The Greek owner couple are also very friendly and are happy to prepare meals in the evening in a small taverna. Access is easy via the main road. The sanitary facilities are good by Greek standards. This year we even have our own toilet and shower. The beach is 150 meters away on a paved path. You can walk to Finikonta along the beach or the road in 30 minutes.
