Karavomilos Beach Camping
The campsite is situated just 1 km. from the village of Sami , which has a large number of shops, tavernas and bars, as well as a post office, ATM, medical facilities and a pharmacy.
The region of Sami, still untouched by the invasion of mass- tourism, is a perfect place to have a wonderful holiday, either at one of the charming beaches, or enjoying the beautiful nature, the famous caves or the traditional villages.
At our campsite (40.000 m2) all the pitches are separated by bushes and flowers, offering you maximum privacy and comfort, and shade is provided by poplar, eucalyptus and mulberry trees.
At Camping Karavomilos Beach you will find all the facilities of a modern and well kept campsite, as well as a perfect organization and friendly service.
It is more than 40 years ago that Camping Karavomilos Beach first opened its gates on the beautiful bay of Sami, just a few meters from the sea in a green and peaceful environment.

REVIEWS
If you are people who are content with the minimum, fine, if you demand a little more, then it is not good. The campsite seems almost abandoned, except for the bar/restaurant and pool part, I think run by others. The small market in the campsite was closed, like other parts of the campsite. The plants in the pitches have not been pruned and I have never seen anyone clean the driveways of the campsite. The bathrooms are dated, poorly cleaned and only one shower group has hot water. The elderly gentleman at reception is not the ultimate in friendliness, he almost seems annoyed to be there. A praise goes instead to the restaurant, few dishes, but the cook is really good, except for the pizzas, too “touristy”. A praise goes also to the wait staff of the bar / restaurant, always courteous and helpful. The restaurant also has a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea on which to dine in the evening, pampered by the sea breeze, is really an experience to try. The location of the campsite, however, is enviable, with a beautiful sea in front and a few minutes from Sami. It is also very close to the port of Sami from where the ferry to Bari departs.
n a very good location, nice view, quiet. We went with our grandson for the nice and quiet beach in front but the little one went crazy with the pool (accessible to non-residents for 7 euros) but we were very pleased with the cleanliness of the premises and the service.
The canteen was adequate!
