Our camping

Vrachos camping is located in Kastraki, Trikala Prefecture, just 1km from Kalambaka and the railway station. Meteora’s imposing rocky pinnacles that tower magnificently over the landscape and the world-famous monasteries perched on the summits are unique spectacles that are certain to impress any visitor.

Since 1965, Vrachos camping has been offering alternative accommodation for the thousands of people who visit this area throughout the year. From nature-lovers and outdoor enthusiasts to a family which seeks a few days of restfulness prefering the advantages of an ideal camping.

The location of our camping can be your base for your excursions in nearby areas or other popular destinations such as Plastira Lake, Metsovo, Theopetra’s cave and many more. For visitors without any means of transportation, the bus stop in front of the entrance of the camping can really help.

In the camping there is a restaurant serving traditional dishes, a mini-market, stoves and free public BBQ grills. The thick shade from the trees, the magnificent view from the pool, the excellent infrastructure and modern sanitation facilities are a few of the main features that will make you.

Facilities

The public stoves, refrigerators and BBQ grills are all offered for free use.
