The camping is ideally located only 15 min. from the town, it’s very close to the sea, and the area is very nice for hiking. You’ll be dazzled by the natural beauties of the area, the trees, the flowers – just like a garden! And you’ll be so close to the tempting sea..
The area is naturally protected by the noises of the town. Also, everything is nearby: The buses, the stores – you’re very near the “heart” of the island!
There is a bus to the town every 20 minutes, and the bus stop is very near the camping’s entrance.

The beach The sandy beach near the camping is just the place to enjoy the summer sun after a refreshing swim in the crystal-clear water. “Ampoula” beach is right next to the camping. The beach has both sand and pebbles as well as trees that cast a nice shadow.
The sea is shallow and gradually gets deeper, so it’s fine for children, too. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming, with or without a snorkel.
The camping is specially organised, so that you can have every possible convenience. You can shop at the Mini-Market, enjoy fine meals at the restaurant, relax with a drink at the bar and later dance at the cocktail-bar by the beach…

REVIEWS
We had a great time. Large comfortable careful seats with natural shade and additional shadows where needed. Toilets and showers are renovated (both women’s and men’s) with plenty of hot water 24 hours a day and are constantly cleaned. The refrigerators and freezers were sufficient. I note that we stayed 5 nights 14-24/8/2024, with young children in our tents. The comfortable pool with sea view and with free sunbeds and umbrellas which is gradually deepening, and with a second small children’s shallow swimming pool, clean and cared for. The tavern also satisfying and the people cute and helpful, from there you can get drinking fresh water and coffee or soft drinks. The caregiver of the camping is ubiquitous, eager and pleasant and gives a solution to any request and I mention a few examples that I saw: trumpet, staircase, extra skiing, chairs, rubber with water to wash garbage etc. The location is very good, with a free sandy beach right in front of the campsite and within walking distance you can find mini markets, bars, taverns etc. The very positive of camping is the vegetation with platans, mores, beeches, eucalyptus etc. and also the low cost (-35% of other corresponding camping). You need to have your own toilet paper and running water is not drinkable, as is the case on all islands in Greece. We felt welcome and safe. The kids were pleased and the adults relaxed. We recommend it if you like camping holidays or if you want to try it. If you have problems with nature (e.g. wind, sun, insects etc) then prefer hotel. I don’t give 5***** because the cooking spaces can be improved and there is no shared space with tables and chairs for dinner time.
Very nice and organized. The pool is clean, as are the common areas. The restaurant has an extensive menu with well-cooked food and affordable prices. Disadvantage is that there is no paper and soap in the toilets.
